The Conflict Sensitivity Facility (CSF) has developed a two-part training course on the Sudan context for aid practitioners working in the country.
When: Session 2 will be held on 8 September 2021, 13:00 – 16:00 Sudan time.
Where: ONLINE – we will send you a Zoom link after you confirm attendance.
The training consists of two half-day sessions and is designed to help donors and aid practitioners working in Sudan to better understand this complex and diverse country. It is particularly useful for staff who are new to the Sudan context, though it is also helpful for national and longer-term expatriate staff.
The course is broken down into four thematic modules – Culture and Authority; Environment, Economy and Livelihood; Aid in Sudan; and Conflict and Peace. Each module will be explored from three different perspectives: theory, history, and practice.
The training will be provided in two parts. Participants will be required to attend both sessions.
Please note that this training will be conducted in English. We will be in touch shortly to offer the same opportunity in Arabic.
Please confirm your interest to attend by clicking the ‘Join Event’ button above by Wednesday, 25 August 2021. Space is strictly limited to ensure a good learning environment.
