On 17 May 2021, France hosted the Paris Conference, marking a new era for economic reform in Sudan. The Conference sought to reintegrate Sudan and its economy to the international stage after decades of isolation. Ahead of the Conference, Saferworld held consultations with Sudanese civil society on their economic priorities for the future of the country.
