Livestock Feasibility Study – Desk research findings and initial recommendations

USAID/BHA sought to build on the initial USAID/BHA Sudan PSLA to conduct a feasibility study to better understand the potential role of USAID/BHA’s target beneficiaries (i.e., farmers and pastoralists) in the expansion of the Sudanese livestock sector and opportunities and models for partnership with the private sector. The study aimed to specifically focus on private sector partnership opportunities and market-based models that will concurrently reduce poverty and build resilience for USAID/BHA’s target beneficiaries and help the private sector to expand the livestock sector.
